Petition: Bring Shymel Curry home after 29 years of incarceration

Shymel Curry has spent nearly 29 years in prison for a crime committed when he was 19 years old. Despite not being the individual who held a weapon, he was sentenced to 50-years-to-life. In the three decades since, Shymel has fundamentally changed his life. He has earned a degree in Social Science, mentored others away from violence, and is ready to serve his community in Troy, New York, hoping to do so through youth outreach and violence interruption programs.
